More than 120 prospects attended Stouffville Spirit Development Camp 2025 at the Stouffville Arena this week.
Goaltenders and skaters from across Ontario, as far afield as North Bay, and the United States, as far west as Colorado, took part in scrimmages between Monday and Wednesday at the Ninth Line home of the Spirit.
The Spirit hockey staff, including Head Coach TJ Hill, the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s 2025 Coach of the Year, and General Manager Kenny Burrows, the league’s executive of the year, assessed the prospects.
The Spirit is coming off its best season in 10 years. The squad finished fourth in the 12-team East Conference of the OJHL. They advanced into the second round of the playoffs where they were eliminated by the eventual league-champion Trenton Golden Hawks.
Spirit players made 11 commitments to Ontario Hockey League, NCAA Division I and U SPORTS teams.
