Three games during opening week include home opener on Sept. 11
The Stouffville Spirit will open its 2025-26 season with two games on the road.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season schedule for 2025-26 was announced Monday.

The Spirit plays Game 1 of its season on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. in Oakville. The Spirit is in Pickering Sunday, Sept. 7, at 7:30 p.m. to play the hometown Panthers.
The Spirit will host those same Pickering Panthers in their home opener on Thursday, Sept. 11. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Stouffville Arena
The Buffalo Jr. Sabres, the lone U.S. franchise in the 24-team OJHL, visits Stouffville on Sept. 21. A 2:30 p.m. start, it’s the only other Spirit home game during September.
The Spirit plays Caledon (Sept. 15) and Leamington (Sept. 16) at the OJHL Governors’ Showcase in Niagara Falls, ON.
The Spirit’s home schedule includes:
- Ten games on Thursday nights
- Nine on Saturday nights
- Two Sunday matinees
- Four games on Thursday afternoons
- Holiday Monday matinees on Thanksgiving and Family Day.
The Spirit schedule ends with three straight road trips, including the final game of the season on Feb. 28 at Haliburton County.
The OJHL playoff schedule includes:
- Round 1, March 6-19
- Round 2, March 20-April 2
- Conference Finals, April 3-16
- Championship Series, April 17-30

The proceeds from Spirit 50/50 draws will be donated to local charities again this season. Stouffville’s Terry Fox Run will receive the donation from games in September and preseason dates in August, including an Ontario Hockey League preseason game on Sept. 14.
