Spirit rookie defenceman Nolan Jackson records a promotional video for Stouffville Spirit Storytimes with Maxwell Batista of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library.
The Stouffville Spirit is proud to partner with the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library at Stouffville Spirit Storytimes this fall.
You can meet the players and hear them read Sundays, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, 12 and 19, from 1-2 p.m. at the library.
There will be give-aways, including Spirit tickets, books and an invitation to attend a Spirit game at the Stouffville Arena.
Here’s the official story from the library:
“Join us in October and November 2023 for a unique reading experience that brings together the magic of storytelling and the excitement of hockey. The Library, in an exciting partnership with the Stouffville Spirit, presents Stouffville Spirit Storytimes!
Children will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in captivating stories led by Stouffville Spirit players. It’s a chance for young readers to connect with their local hockey heroes while exploring the world of books.
Following the storytime, children can participate in a Q & A session with the Stouffville Spirit players. This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions about hockey, sportsmanship, and more.”
