Stouffville is in must-win territory.

Trailing 3-1 to the Pickering Panthers in their best-of-seven Ontario Junior Hockey League playoff series, the Spirit must win three straight to advance to the East Conference final.

That journey begins Sunday (2:30 p.m.) with Game 5 at the Stouffville Arena.

Game 6 would be played Tuesday (3:30) in Pickering with Game 7 Thursday (7:30) back in Stouffville.

The Spirit fell 3-1 at home in Game 4 Thursday. Down 2-1 late, a great shot to tie the score beat the Pickering goal but rang off the crossbar. The Panthers added a late empty-net goal. Hudson Armstrong scored for the Spirit.

The Newmarket Hurricanes lead the Trenton Golden Hawks 3-1 in the other East semifinal.  They meet again Sunday at 5 p.m. in Trenton.

Collingwood and Toronto qualified for the West final with wins on Friday nightn
