Nineteen Stouffville Spirit players are scheduled to attend Ontario Hockey League training camps this month.
As well, Hudson Armstrong, the Spirit’s leading scorer (39 goals/39 assists) last season, is at camp with the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Maritimes Hockey League.
Several OHL camps are opening on Aug. 24 or 25.

Stouffville opened its training camp last Monday, Aug. 17. The Spirit won its first two exhibition games over the St. Michael’s Buzzers, 4-2 on Friday and 9-5 on Saturday.
The Spirit completes its preseason schedule with games against the Toronto Patriots, in Etobicoke on Aug. 31 and Sept. 2 at the Stouffville Arena.
The Spirit opens the regular season at home to the Markham Royals on Sept. 10.
